A fire in Prince George early Tuesday morning has caught the attention of the PG RCMP.
At about 1:15am, police and Prince George Fire Rescue were dispatched to the 2000 block of 5th Avenue in PG.
“Not only was the fire put out, but investigators were able to determine enough information that they believe the fire is suspicious in nature,” explains Corporal Craig Douglass.
“Therefore, the Prince George RCMP has assumed conduct of the investigation.”

Douglass goes on to say there is no timetable for the investigation, as these types of cases can often take months to complete.
