Northern Health encouraging families to re-connect

Cutting down on the amount of screen time should be a priority this long weekend for families across the Northern BC.

Lead for Healthy Community Development, Holly Christian says several fun activities can be enjoyed by any member of the family.

“Some really great examples on spending time with your family includes ice skating, tobogganing and either cross-country or downhill skiing.”

The goal of the Disconnect to Reconnect initiative isn’t to reduce screen time completely but to reduce time spend and replacing it with your families.
