Tachie Road and Highway 27 in Fort St. James is getting more attention these days.
Sgt. Poppy Hallam says they stepped up their efforts last week.
“Myself and another officer went up to Tachie Road last Thursday and ran some radar enforcement and pulled over four full logging trucks in a short period of time.”
The issue came to a head after three people contacted police in one day reporting unsafe driving in the area.

A fatal crash also took place on that stretch of road back on December 7th.
Some of the complaints include logging trucks hogging up the centre line and small commercial vehicles passing when unsafe.
