28 affordable rental homes coming to Vanderhoof

An affordable housing project in Vanderhoof has been selected for third intake of the Building BC Community Housing Fund.

The aim is to provide rental homes for seniors, families, individuals and those living with disabilities along with Indigenous residents.

This includes 28 units on 2824 Burrard Avenue in partnership with Nechako View Senior Citizens’ Home Society.

In total, more than 580 new affordable homes are on the way for renters living in Interior and northern B.C., through partnerships between the Province and local non-profit housing providers.
