The BC Wildfire Branch is responding to a wildfire 30km west of Prince George, north of Norman Lake.
Fire Information Officer Amanda Reynolds says the most current size estimate is 10 hectares “we are in conversations with the Regional District about a potential evacuation alert.”
There are 27 firefighters on the ground supported by one helicopter and air tankers.
The fire was discovered this afternoon, the cause is under investigation.
