An RCMP stand-off ended peacefully in Dawson Creek.
The Dawson Creek RCMP received a report of a suicidal man at a private residence at around 5:00 pm yesterday. (Tuesday)
Mounties say the man was taken into custody without injury after around two hours of negotiation.
The Old Edmonton Highway was closed for the duration of the negotiations.
Police say there is no longer any concern for safety and the public.
