More people than ever before decided to pick up a special BC Parks license plate this year.
According to BC Parks, 83,033 plates were sold in the province this year.
The plates don’t just stand out on a vehicle, proceeds from every plate go to BC Parks and support conservation, land management, the BC Parks Ranger Program, and more.
Each plate costs $50 to buy and $40 to renew annually.

Over 400,000 plates are now in rotation in the province.
