Applications are now being taken for the Canada Summer Jobs program.
Not-for-profits and public and private sector employers with fewer than 50 employees can apply for funding until January 12th.
Every year the feds set priorities for the program and this year they include youth with disabilities, racialized and Indigenous youth and small businesses and
not-for-profit organizations that have leadership from groups that are
under-represented in the labour market.
Students have to work a minimum of 30 hours a week up to 16 weeks during the summer.
Applications can be filled out online.
