The Human Rights Tribunal has struck down a 40-billion-dollar settlement for First Nations.
The money was meant to compensate First Nations children and families who were harmed by the on-reserve child welfare system.
The Tribunal has said the deal leaves some children out and did not guarantee each family would receive 40 thousand dollars.
The agreement between the federal government and the Assembly of First Nations has announced in January and at the time the feds said it met
all of the terms the human rights tribunal had ordered.
