Three people were taken to hospital, one of which sustained life-threatening injuries following a serious crash on Highway 16 in Vanderhoof.
According to the North District RCMP, the incident occurred just before 10 am yesterday (Sunday) when a Ford F-350 heading east made contact with an SUV.
The road was closed to traffic for several hours but has since been re-opened.
Police say road conditions were icy at the time of the crash.
