The Vanderhoof Air Show will take to the air on Saturday and will feature some very special guests.
Two of them are aerobic pilots David and Drew Watson from Alberta.
Davis says his flying journey began at a young age. “My father at the time purchased a Harvard and as soon as I got my pilot’s license I had to fly it. I have been flying my dad’s plane on and off since 1985.”
Both brothers received training from an ex-Canadian Military Formation Instructor and got them to do 120-degree banks and 3G poles in formation followed by loops and rolls.
Wilson believes appearing at these shows is very beneficial.
“When we go to air shows we get a lot of our fuel paid and it helps us recover the costs of our aircraft so we get the best of both worlds, some compensation to feed our habit and combine with our love of aviation.”
