Ghostbusters will be featured during Vanderhoof’s first movie night at Ferland Park.
It begins tonight at 10pm and Tom Clement with the District of Vanderhoof believes it’s a nice little setup.
“We have a natural little amphitheater there, we set up the big screen and people just come and set up our lawn chairs and we get the Integris Credit Union to make popcorn for a little fundraiser.”
Clement adds the reason they chose Wednesdays was simple.
“We don’t want to compete too much with our local theater who bring in new movies on Thursdays, so we just thought if we held on Wednesday we won’t be competing them nearly as much.”
The District puts up three movie possibilities on the message board and Facebook page for people to vote on
As the days get shorter the start time will be 9:30PM starting August 10th before being bumped up to 9PM on the 24th.
