Only six weeks into her term as British Prime Minister, Liz Truss has resigned.
During her short-lived stint as PM markets crumbled and her party rebelled against her financial policies.
Yesterday (Wednesday), Truss said she would stay in power and that she was not a quitter, but later a senior minister quit and a vote in the House of Commons became chaotic.
Today, she resigned saying she cannot deliver the mandate on which she was elected.
