The Vanderhoof RCMP have responded to a residential assault that occurred on Sunday morning.
Just before 4 am, police received a complaint regarding an assault with a weapon on the 2700 block of Church Avenue.
5 individuals were eventually detained by police and believe this was an isolated incident.
No further information has been released at this time.
