The annual emergency services Bike Rodeo took place at the Fraser Lake Arena last month.
The event was open to youth aged 14 and under and provided participants with an opportunity to learn important bike safety skills while enjoying a day with local emergency service personnel.
Children were encouraged to bring their bicycles and helmets for a bike inspection, along with a helmet fit check, and bicycle registration.
More than 80 prizes were donated, including bicycles, helmets, bike pumps, and other cycling-related items.
One of the highlights was prize winner Ethan who was thrilled to take home a brand-new bicycle donated by a local sponsor.
The Bike Rodeo was a collaborative effort organized by the Fraser Lake RCMP, Fraser Lake Fire Department, Fort Fraser Fire Department, and BC Emergency Health Services.
