Burns Lake breaks 28-year-old temperature record

Burns Lake was one of 24 B.C. communities to set a brand-new temperature record.

On Sunday, a high of 22.2 degrees was reached, breaking the old mark of 21.1 set back in 1998.

While Prince George did not establish a new temperature record over the weekend, the city’s chance could come between Monday and Thursday with daytime highs set between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius.
