After a lengthy search, School District 91 has found its new superintendent.
Anita McClinton will take over the role on January 20th.
She is currently serving as the Director of Instruction in the Cariboo-Chilcotin (School District 27).
Anita’s experience spans various roles, including teacher, Vice-Principal, and Principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
She also has five years of District-level leadership experience as Associate Superintendent of Human Services and Superintendent of Schools.
In her District roles, Anita has led diverse areas of public education, including Indigenous Education, French Programming, Human Resources, Career Education, Professional Learning, and Community Connections.
McClinton holds a Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Calgary.
