The deadline has passed for candidate nominations ahead of the 2024 Provincial Election, and the candidate list is finalized.

Election day is set for October 19th, with advanced voting scheduled for October 10th to 13, 15th and 16th.

The three major parties (BC NDP, BC Conservatives, BC Greens) are running a full slate of candidates in the Prince George/Nechako Lakes area.

Nechako Lakes candidates:

Prince George will have three ridings with the addition of Prince George-North Cariboo.

Prince George-North Cariboo candidates:

For the first time in 23 years, Prince George-Valemount will have a new MLA as Shirley Bond previously announced she will not be seeking re-election.

Prince George-Valemount candidates:

There will also be a new representative for Prince George-Mackenzie, as outgoing MLA Mike Morris announced his retirement a year ago.

Prince George-Mackenzie candidates:

Both the BC NDP and BC Conservatives have candidates running in all 93 ridings, while the BC Greens will only be running 69 candidates.

The full list of candidates in all 93 ridings can be found here.
