$75,000 BC/49 ticket purchased in Mackenzie

Someone in Mackenzie has been added to the long list of this year’s Northern BC lotto winners.

A ticket purchased in Mackenzie for last night’s BC/49 draw matched five of six numbers plus the bonus to win $75,000.

The winning numbers were 7, 8, 24, 32, 44, and 49, with the bonus number being 22.

There was no winner for the $2 million grand prize, or the Extra prize of $500,000.

There’s been plenty of lotto winners in the North this year.

In April, a Lotto Max ticked purchased in Prince George won more than $96,000.

A ticket purchased in Prince George for the March 19th Lotto 6/49 draw was one of four across Canada to match five of six numbers plus the bonus, netting a $56,000 win.

In addition, Annabelle and Arden Ross claimed $230,000 during the March 9th Lotto 6/49 draw.

Shawna and Jason Eberle of Prince George won a $500,000 extra prize on the February 15th Daily Grand Draw.

In addition, Williams Lake is home to two big winners.

John Bennetts, the owner of The Neighborhood Ice Cream Shop won $274,000 after claiming the February 16th Lotto Max draw.

A month later, a ticket purchased in Williams Lake won a $500,000 Extra Prize on the March 15th Lotto Max draw.
