Burns Lake RCMP responded to a residence on 3rd Avenue where a stabbing was reported.
When police arrived, an adult male was found with injuries and another person administering first aid.
The victim was taken to hospital in stable conditions and non-life-threatening injuries.
Later, two people were arrested without incident with connection to the stabbing.
One was released on court compelling documents while the other remains in custody pending further investigation.
All parties were known to each other and Mounties believe this was a targeted incident with no further risk to the public.
