A 43-year old man, arrested in connection with a gun complaint near a Quesnel school, has now been charged.
Jamie Ross Harkley is facing one count of causing a disturbance and is due back in court tomorrow (Tuesday) for a bail hearing.
Quesnel RCMP received a report of a man with a firearm walking towards Correlieu Secondary School back on May 17th.
Police say witnesses said the man was agitated and yelling at people.
The school was partially locked down as a precaution and the man was taken into custody without incident, and police say a replica handgun was seized.
