Evacuation Order issued near Lucas Lake, Alert issued for Southeast Nechako

The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako has issued an evacuation order near the Lucas Lake Wildfire.

The order affects all properties and lands at the east end of the Nechako Reservoir in the area of Lucas Lake.

There are a number of out-of-control wildfires in the area, with Lucas Lake being the largest at 517 hectares.

Additionally, an Evacuation Alert has been issued for the Nechako Southeast Area Fires.

This includes all lands and properties south of the Power Line Right of Way to the southern boundary of the Regional District and West of the Blackwater Road, excluding the boundary of the Village of Fraser Lake and IRs.
