A lightning-caused fire is out of control 24 kilometers south of Fort St. James.
The BC Wildfire Service says it was discovered yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon at around 4:20, and has since grown to an estimated 50 hectares large.
It is not currently considered a wildfire of note, but the BC Wildfire service says it could potentially become a threat to Highway 27 between the Fort and Vanderhoof.
