A threat received by an elementary school in Fort St. James has been deemed unfounded.
The Fort St. James RCMP was called to David Hoy Elementary at 9:30 this morning (Tuesday) after receiving a serious and specific threat directed to the school.
The school was evacuated and police conducted a thorough search.
Investigators determined that there was not a legitimate threat, and the school was deemed safe for teachers and students to return.
