Students in the Nechako Lakes region will benefit from extracurricular events, activities, and equipment after 12 District Parent Advisory Councils including Vanderhoof, Fraser Lake, and Fort Saint James received community gaming grant money from the province.
According to the province, over 11 million dollars is being distributed across BC to these groups for the 2022-23 school year.
