From Fort Saint James to Wisconsin.
That’s the route Diego Johnson is headed in his hockey career.
The 16-year-old rookie forward for the Merritt Centennials has committed to play NCAA Division One hockey for the Wisconsin Badgers.
So far this season with the Centennials, Johnson has seven points in 11 games in his first season at the BCHL level.
Prior to joining Merritt, Johnson showcased his talents with the Okanagan Hockey Academy where he tallied 42 points in 32 games with the Under 17 Prep program.
