The BC Coroners Service and Vanderhoof RCMP have positively identified human remains that were found near Vanderhoof in August.
On August 22nd, the Vanderhoof RCMP were called to a residence on Kenney Dam Road on the Saik’uz First Nation where the remains were found.
Police and the BC Coroners Service have confirmed they are those of Nicholas John, who was reported missing on July 27th.
Mounties do not believe there is anything suspicious in the death of Nicholas John.
The BC Coroners Service has conduct of the investigation.
