Mentorship and grants program looking to “spark” tourism offerings in Northern BC

A new program is looking to aid innovative tourism ideas in the north.

The “Spark” Mentorships and Grants Program is an initiative between local and provincial partners where it will match selected applicants from the region and help take new ideas to the next level.

The program will include a tourism mentor, a $3000 grant, and an additional partner.

“Our region is filled with resourceful and innovative entrepreneurs and through this program we are aiming to inspire the development or enhancement of new travel experiences across
northern BC. This program is a great way to further strengthen our northern tourism sector and we can’t wait to see what new ideas come to market as a result of it,” – Clint Fraser, CEO, of Northern BC Tourism Association.
