Police in Chetwynd were called to a large fire at West Fraser’s lumber yard.
According to the RCMP, they responded to the call just after 3 pm yesterday (Thursday).
Police say the fire had ignited in the hog fuel pile and subsequently spread to a nearby timber lay down pile.
The fire is not suspicious in nature and the local fire department has conduct of the investigation.
