The state of the art Aquatic Centre in Vanderhoof will have no shortage of features.
The facility will have a leisure pool, lazy river, a 6 lane lap pool, 26 seat jacuzzi and a sauna.
Special Project Coordinator, Zoe Dhillon says after an unveiling on Tuesday night, the District will be moving quickly on the project.
“We are putting out a tender on the 15th to receive bids back three weeks later which will be December 6th and we will sign the contract within two months.”

The new pool will be located east of the arena.
A second floor was in the plans for a few months until they found the project would be over budget.
A diving board was the last omission from the facility.
