Cariboo-Prince George job vacancy rate comes in at 2.8%

The Cariboo region, which includes Prince George, is ahead of the province when it comes to wages offered for job vacancies.

Stats Canada Analyst, Myriam Hazel says the breakdown might surprise you. “For BC, the offered wage was $19.10 while Cariboo came in at $19.60 which was the highest among economic regions in the province.”

BC was the only province to see a spike in the job vacancies recording a 7% jump.

This was due to gains in health care and social assistance.
