Following a social media scare involving scary clowns in Fort St. James earlier this month, School District 91 has asked staff and students not to wear clown costumes at school functions this Halloween.
On Oct 7, David Hoy Elementary and Fort St. James Secondary were placed under ‘Secure and Hold’ procedures for most of the day following a creepy clown threat posted on Instagram.
As a result, School District Superintendent Charlene Seguin says they’re asking parents not to let their kids come to school in clown costumes.
Seguin is also recommending that parents not let their kids dress as clowns at all this Halloween.
