The crown has approved charges in relation to this weekends fatal stabbing on the Tl’azt’en Nation (Tachie) Reserve west of Fort St James. (previous story)
33 year old Annie Jean Anatole has been charged with second degree murder for the stabbing death of a 31 year old Tachie man. Anatole will remain in custody at least until her next court appearance on August 15th.
Police say the murder was an isolated incident where the two individuals knew each other and the public is not at risk.
