Emmanuelle Bourbeau with Stats Canada says any progress made in the past year was snuffed out due to declines in several sectors.
“There were increases in wholesale trade, scientific and technical services along with transportation but these were offset by declines in insurance, educational services, mining and oil and gas extraction.”
Year over year numbers show a 0.9% increase from the same time a year ago.
The national average in February was $953.75.
