Starting November 1st, two new physicians will begin practice in Fort Saint James.
They have been hired to support outreach services to surrounding First Nations.
The hirings are part of a partnership between two area first nations, the Fort Saint James Primary Care Society and Northern Health.
Funding for the new positions is covered by the Ministry of Health’s Alternative Payments Program.
