Highway 16 has been reduced to single lane alternating traffic about 30 kilometres east of Vanderhoof at Degel Pit Road.
A tanker truck has rolled into the ditch and has been spilling fuel. Crews at the scene are asking driver to refrain from smoking while driving through.
Vanderhoof RCMP are expecting the accident to be cleared up by 730pm
