US Consulate making second trip to Northern BC

Representatives from the American Embassy in Vancouver are making another trip up North to the Prince George Public Library.

Spokesperson Ingrid Specht says they’d like to see at least 15 people sign up for the visit.

“We’re hoping to reach out to American citizens that are living Prince George, or in the surrounding communities, who may need to either renew their US passport, plus notary services next Thursday at the library.”

She adds interested residents will have to book an appointment in advance.

“We’ll we able to call the people who are making an appointment, and walk them through all the documents that they may need to bring. People can give us an email, and then we’ll be able to respond with a phone call or an email reply to set things up more specifically.”

You can send the US Consulate an email request at [email protected].

Meetings will start as early as 11AM on the Thursday morning; for more information, you can click here.
